Guidelines

Board members and adult volunteers meet strict policy guidelines and have been cleared by the Illinois State Police to work with youth. In addition, all board members and volunteers are bound by Mandated Reporting (an obligation to notify authorities of suspected child abuse) to insure the safety and health of all youth participants. Other corporate guidelines cover confidentiality, ethical boundaries, physical and emotional safety, and drug and alcohol use. All RYO functions are supervised by adult RYO staff.
